Young folks, ages 10 –18, are invited to participate in our Junior Interpreter Program.   Juniors age 17-18 are welcome to attend our Living History Society meeting with the adult volunteers as well.

During our Special Events they will help us bring the Village to life by costumed interaction as Village youth.  Junior Interpreters will have opportunites to dress in Civil War era clothing during our Civil War Hands-On History School Days program in May, 1900 era clothing during our summer and fall special events and 1940's era clothing for our World War II Days event in late September. Whether you’re interested in acting or history this is a great way to become involved.

Many opportunities are available from working in our heritage gardens, helping at our many special events to becoming a Jr. summer camp counselor.  It’s an excellent way to discover the past while helping in the present.   There is a $25 fee per Junior for the year to cover the cost of costumes and other special event and Junior Interpreter activities.
