Midway Village Museum Collections Department
The Collections Department is at the heart of the museum’s efforts to collect and preserve Rockford’s History. The Department is responsible for the following activities:
• Caring for and documenting the Museum’s collection of historical documents, photographs, and artifacts.
• Collecting historical artifacts for the collection through conversations with members of the public.
• Assisting individuals and organizations in completing historical research.
• Acting as a resource to individuals and organizations with questions regarding the proper care of historical artifacts
