Midway Village Museum can help with your historical research.
Available in the Museum’s research library are
• Volumes on Rockford history
• Rockford city directories
• Plat maps
• Documents related to local manufacturers, businesses, churches, and organizations.
• More than 5,000 photographs and postcards featuring Rockford scenes and people.
How to Access the Research Library
Use of the Research Library is by appointment only, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Research Fees
Access to the Research Library is available free of charge.
Research can also be completed by Museum Staff at the following rates:
- 15 minutes or less: Free
- Requests requiring more than 15 minutes: $10.00 per hour (1 hr. min.)
- Photocopies $ .25 each
Digital scans of images from the Museum’s photo collection can be provided on a CD.
First 10 scans $10.00
11-20 scans $20.00
21-30 scans $30.00
31-40 scans $40.00
41-50 scans $50.00
