Hands-on Learning

Midway Village Museum can provide custom programs to meet your home school academic needs for either individual families or home school groups.  Most of the museum’s regular education programs can be modified to meet your needs.

For specific program prices and reservations contact Laura Furman, Curator, at laura@midwayvillage.com.  The living history village will open for field trips starting in the spring, and tour dates do fill quickly.  To view a map of the 13-acre Victorian-era Village.

Visit the website regularly for home school program updates and resource information.  There are many volunteer learning opportunities at Midway Village Museum for older students through our Education and Collections Departments as well as through the museum’s Junior Interpreters program.

The museum’s homeschool programs are recognized by the Home EDucators Resource Directory as “homeschool” friendly” and has received its HERD SEAL of Approval.
